Egrets, Reef Heron Egrets and Rock Wallabies inhabit the rocks of Yardie Creek. At low tide there were Mangroves thriving in the brackish water. Rock Wallabies are threatened to extinction by the feral foxes that are a major problem in Western Australia. Feral cats are almost as deadly to native species of animals in WA.
