Our next real stop was in Great Falls, Montana at the the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.The series of 6 falls on the Missouri river stopped the Lewis and Clark expedition forcing quite a portage around the falls. What a beautiful center this was and a ton of docents who were everywhere. We had a great chat with a Michigan grad and a Michigan State grad who were unrelated retired people who had moved to Great Falls and enjoyed their work at the center.
