Visiting Arv and Lana at Long Pond, Maine

We wandered through northern Vermont and New Hampshire enjoying Burlington, Montpelier and many small towns before arriving at Long Pond in Maine.  Arv and Lana warmly welcomed us to their "camp" as places like theirs are called in Maine.  Such a warm and cozy "camp" we should all have. We hiked high up on French  Mountain to look down on Long Pond where their "cabin" is.
Up another vista point is a great golf course much like Newcastle one. The next day we went in search of lighthouses and the worlds greatest lobster roll.  It poured buckets of rain, but we did find Red's which has the reputation of having the finest lobster roll and we found lots of lighthouses.  Because of the rain we spent lots of time at the lighthouses studying all the displays and were amazed at the size lobsters could become.  However, the best lobster we had in Maine was right at Lana and Arv's dinner table.  We were ready to eat lobster everynight we could in New England.
