Moving on to one of our favorite places- Teddy Roosevelt National Park August 12,2010

Teddy Roosevelt is one of our favorite National Parks but we had little time for it on this trip.  Cottonwood Campground served us well for the night and we hustled out the next morning with a brief stop at an overlook on the way out of the park.
Look at what this little boy spotted as he and his dad were checking out the overlook.
This is the first real rattlesnake that I've seen in the wild.  Yikes! The kids father was on the otherside of the fence and we handed him the camera to get this picture. We were happy to be on our way east.
Good by Badlands.
