Band alumni night happened at Big Red Stadium. Leo took the opportunity to take a loaner trumpet and perform at half time. Can you find him on the field?The band has a new tradition of coming into the building after the game and dancing to the drummers beat in the schools auditorium. When Leo and I went to this school the gym floor that the basketball games were played on was here. There were bleachers on one side and the the auditorium seats on the other side. That has all been changed now and there is a wall where the bleachers were and it is simply an auditorium where I used to sit and take notes in a lecture first thing in the morning and first things after lunch. Other changes involve having football players and cheerleaders playing in the band as well as participating in the football game in their other function....not allowed in our day.
