After talking to numerous people in Nova Scotia, we decided we were this close and had to see Newfoundland. We hopped the 6 hour ferry in Sydney, made reservations at a hotel in Port aux Basque Newfoundland and were on our way. The ferry was a beautiful boat, with a great lounge, internet room, dining room and they provided entertainment for most of the crossing. What a pleasant surprise.
