While we were headed for the Cape Breton Highlands, we were forced to take a couple days off from our travel and hang out in Baddeck to wait out Hurricane Earl. Bras d'Or Lake is a salt water lake about 62 miles long and 30 miles wide and stuck right in the middle of Cape Breton Island.
