Walking around the world heritage part of town. There are many temples and this is just one of them. The temples are under constant repair. In this case they have painted the wall or column black, waited until it was just tacky and then put up their stencil and started putting on inch squares so gold leaf.

The river floods every year and so the bridges that they build and the gardens they plant fe trashed away and rebuilt every yer.
