Jan 16 luang probang boat across the river to visit the villages

We took a boat across and up the river a little to visit a small temple and walk back through the village to hop the local taxi boat back across with all the locals. One picture is of hoe impenetrable the jungle is. ( I don't know why these pictures are loading up weird) sticks of wood people carry on poles across their shoulders with a bundle on each end. Last picture is the road to Thailand ...not too many kilometers down the road.
